5 Steps to Use Chic Marine Gel Hull Cleaner

Step 1: Prepare Your Boat and Supplies

Position your boat on a trailer or in a location where the hull is easily accessible. Gather your supplies: Chic Marine Gel Hull Cleaner, protective gloves, eyewear, a soft-bristle brush or sponge, a spray bottle with a sprayer or garden sprayer, and clean water for rinsing.

Step 2: Apply the Gel Hull Cleaner

Shake the bottle of Chic Marine Gel Hull Cleaner well. Pour the cleaner into a spray bottle or garden sprayer for easy application. Spray the cleaner evenly onto the hull, focusing on stained or algae-covered areas.

Step 3: Allow the Cleaner to Work

Let the gel sit for 5 to 10 minutes to penetrate and loosen dirt, algae, and stains. Ensure the cleaner remains wet; lightly mist with water if it starts to dry.

Step 4: Scrub and Rinse

Use a soft-bristle brush or sponge to gently scrub the treated areas. Rinse the hull thoroughly with clean water, starting from the top and working down.

Step 5: Dry and Inspect

Dry the hull with microfiber cloths to prevent water spots. Inspect the hull; if necessary, repeat the cleaning process on any remaining stains.

Works very well. Just spray on let sit for a couple of minutes then brush and hose off.

Been using this for a couple years now. Love the foamy action so it sticks and works where it's sprayed. A light, soft brushing removes the heavier scum and then rinses right off. Used on 2012 Searay 190Sport (Black Hull) and a 2001 Hurricane GS170 (White Hull).

Boat hull cleaner

The boat hull cleaner I ordered worked better than expected. I had a thick build up on our hull that I could not get clean even after scrubbing and pressure washing. I sprayed half the transom with this product and left the other half unsprayed and took a picture that I have attached for reference.

Excellent Product

Product worked extremely well. This was my 2nd time cleaning the hull on this boat. Last time I used a different product that worked horribly. Glad I did some research and found Chic. It worked exactly as described and made the job much easier than before.

I also purchased the black spot removed which is amazing as well.
